Serving Northeast Phoenix and Scottsdale areas, Bim’s Lawn and Landscaping Service, Inc. is a well-established, full service lawn and landscaping company that has earned a reputation for job quality that is second to none. Quality work, dependability and customer satisfaction are our company goals. Family owned and operated, Bim’s was founded in 1982 with just a one-man crew and a vision that quality work at an affordable price would create the best loyal customer base in the industry. With over 30 years in business that vision has become a reality. We currently have hundreds of satisfied customers and employ 11 people that share our same vision.
In 1982 Bim Fritz was married with three very young sons and was working as a manager at Pinnacle Peak Patio in far North Scottsdale. Bim enjoyed working as a manager, but with his growing family and the long hours and very late nights that a busy restaurant demands Bim was not able to spend quality time with his family. Plus, he didn’t see the opportunity for growth and being able to make his own decisions. Bim wanted a business that he could own and manage that would not only provide for his family, but also allow him to spend quality time with his family. Also, Bim grew up in a farming environment and loved working outdoors. So with only a mower and a van Bim borrowed from his dad, Bim and his wife Lisa started Bim’s Lawn and Landscaping.
You can only imagine how hard it must have been for a young man with a wife and three young children to make this big leap. But Bim realized a couple of important things:
- Faith and family are the most important things in life and you must do everything you can to support, grow, and nurture family ties.
- Quality, hard work, dedication, and “doing the right thing” is what would bring him success.
Based on this philosophy Bim was not only able to support his family, but he quickly found the business growing. In 1997 the business was flourishing and Bim’s son, Jeremy, came to work for the family business. In 2008 Bim’s added pool maintenance to its services when Bim’s eldest son, Josh, retired from the navy and joined the family business.
